The Brewery Tap

The Brewery Tap is one of Peterborough’s genuine landmarks for a good night out — a working microbrewery set inside a beautifully converted Victorian chapel, with soaring ceilings and the brewing tanks in full view behind the bar. It’s a striking space, and the beer more than lives up to it, with a rotating range of cask and craft ales brewed on the premises alongside a broad selection of world beers. The atmosphere shifts nicely through the evening — relaxed and easy for an early pint, busier and more social as the night goes on. There’s a solid food menu too if you want to make a proper evening of it rather than just stopping by for a drink. Regular events, from quiz nights to live music, give it a bit of extra character throughout the week. It’s an easy walk from the city centre, making it a natural stop after dinner or before heading on elsewhere. For guests wanting a taste of Peterborough’s social side rather than a generic high-street bar, this is the one we point people toward first.
